Adium jumping

I have my Adium contact list docked in the bottom-left corner, but occasionally it will jump up a few pixels, particularly after (but not limited to) when someone signs off/on.

Anyone have any idea why it would do that?

UPDATE:

I noticed that then it does jump up a little, it tends to be at the same height as the dock is at the time. interesting.
