adium/msn messenger

hey all,
i've been using adium for a while now to talk to my friends using my msn account until recently when it wont sign in. i just seem to get a black circle with a sqaure rotating behind it.

i've tried messenger for mac (latest version) amsn and these also won't sign in but i can get online with mercury messenger, which is ok, but i'd rather be using adium!

any ideas whats up?

Not 100% sure, could be problems with MSN?

If you want to live on the wild side, Adium is working on a new beta version right now (http://beta.adiumx.com/), and the most recent update included a new MSN library. Perhaps that would connect better?

Just to be safe I'd backup your Adium settings so if nothing works out you can revert to the way everything was before you tried the beta. (/Users/YourUserName/Library/Application Support/Adium 2.0/)

just out of interest bturville are you from the uk? maybe msn are doing something to the uk servers?
