Adium won't connect to MSN because port is blocked in college

I'm using my Macbook at college and Adium won't connect because the port it uses is blocked by the college network (it still has to follow the same rules of blocked websites as the college computers). Any ideas on how to get around this?

You can connect via HTTP.
Go to preferences, accounts, the msn account, edit, options, connect via http.

Thanks. I tried that but both of my msn accounts got to 'Handshaking 12%' before telling me 'Error: Reading Error'
