Adium wont FILE TRANSFER

^ yeah so whenever i want to file transfer with someone using my adium, it doesnt connect. also when i direct connect, sometimes it connects but most of the time it doesnt... what do i do?

Use the AIM client to do file transfers.

I think that the problems come from whatever client is on the other end of the transfer. Adium to Adium seems to work, but Adium to AIM seems to be version dependent.

Yeah, it's more so the client. MSN has very bad transferring rates. You're better off uploading what you want to send to a website and then giving the other person the link.
