Adium won't work on new iMac

Hey,
I've just bought a new iMac and as well as adding new applications i've downloaded Adium.
For some reason it just won't connect to any of my email address' (hotmail or gmail)

I've had to download MSN and hotmail works fine in there.
Adium works fine on my old G4 and I know that all the details (passwords etc) are the same. I've tried dumping the 2 preference files and re-installing but still nothing.....

Anyone got any ideas?? I really don't like MSN.

i dunno why it wouldn't work. It runs fine on my AluMac. You could try Fire, but i never liked its interface.
