Adium X and MSN service not working!!

I was using Adium X to chat with a friend when it showed that she went offline, and was yet still sending messages to me. She told me that I never was listed as online, and that's why I had always started the conversations. She is using a PC with the MSN Messenger for Windows. I switched to Fire, and immediately, she showed as online, and I showed as online. Adium is a better chat app in so many ways IMHO, and besides Fire really looks ugly, again IMHO. Please help me get back to Adium X!

I find that if you blocked someone, you can still talk to them through Adium and you will show as offline on their list.. tho I'm not sure what happened in your case. Perhaps consult the Adium forums..

3rd party clients tend to loose MSN-abilty for some reason.

thats easy, just tell her to use something better than MSN!
