Seeing how Apple has just begun a campaign advertising the iPhone 6's camera, I went to download 2 camera apps, namely Manual and ProCamera 8. Both are great apps, but there's one serious problem.

Both of them allow me to adjust the ISO and shutter speed of my 6 Plus' camera. However it appears that any adjustments I made to these attributes wouldn't stick, and the moment I pressed shoot, the camera would take a photo at an ISO and shutter speed it deemed fit, not the values I manually changed.

I have given all permissions the apps require.

Anyone knows how to make the adjustments stick? Thanks.

P.S. I tried the same apps on my 5s and the adjustments would stick.
