Adjusting channel levels in FCP

I'm trying to find a way of directly adjusting the level of the red, green, and blue channels in a clip. I've tried the RGB balance filter for this, but it doesn't seem to directly affect the channels as even with all sliders at their minimum settings I'm not getting total blackness.

Anyone know of any filter in FCP or any third party filter that will let me do this?
