I tried to adjust the width of a column in a table in the same way that it's done in Pages '09, which I'm used to. Didn't work. I searched for an answer on the web but found nothing. In the Pages "Help" menu, the way they describe to do it sounds exactly like the way it is done in Pages '09, but I can't seem to do it. Apparently, I'm missing something, but I don't know what. Can anyone help?

Just highlight the column you want to adjust by clicking on the column header. Then go to Row & Column Size and adjust the column to the width you need it. Screenshot below.
