There are certainly pros that would use them, but I think a few non pros would appreciate more control to set things to individual liking.
The ability adjust settings to color, contrast, hue, color temperature (target white point), gamma, etc. are available on other Apple products, and would be a great addition to this new iPad.
We see plenty of people who say its too warm or too cold, and many of these issues could be helped by adding more controls. Apple probably can add this very simply, and even bury it with a toggle that says expert mode to get to them.
These controls become more important as the color spectrum gets wider and we see more variations on displays. Plus some people like more cold, more warmth, higher contrast or lower contrast. *More and more content creation will be coming to the iPad, like photoshop, iPhoto, etc. Why not have something along the lines of "Display Calibrator"
So please let them know if you would like more advanced calibration setting.
