Admin password changed without my knowledge?

So I wanted to change the account name on a 13" Macbook Pro with Snow Leopard. So I went to accounts, right clicked on the account, hit advanced options, and changed the account name. That's it. Now suddenly my admin password somehow changed, and I can't changed files since I need to password. Any ideas? I don't want to restart and risk not being able to access the Mac

Boot it up the computer with the Snow Leopard install disk - from there you can change the admin password.

No, the discs that used to come with Macs are tied into the system. You'd need the discs that came with this Mac or a retail SL disc.
