I am an IT Windows admin for a 200 person company with a growing population of Mac OS X users. They are like cockroaches just popping up everywhere!

I'm rather new to administering OS X systems. Aside from adding them to the Windows domain and using Windows domain authentication, our dept doesn't give Mac any love. We don't even back them up or have any images to deploy.

We had an incident yesterday where one of our managers had their entire laptop wiped clean because the previous owner who left the company removed the device from her iCloud, which locked and wiped the laptop.

With that said, I want to take the initiative and start administering OS X better in our domain. Do any of you have any good resources (books/video) or links for me to check out? I'm open to paid content if it's worth it.

BTW, I bought myself a shiny new macbook 15" for personal use just to get myself better acquainted with os x
