HI, This is my first time on here so please just bare with me.
I have a used 2009 macbook that I've bought and it did not
come with no installation disc just the laptop and the adapter.
but the person I bought it from has forgotten his administration
password and I've been using this laptop on users account since
then but it wont let me update the software.
I've searched online and found out that I need the mac os x
installation disk but my question is does it matter what kind of
installation disc I get? Do I have to get the same installation
disc that was used on this laptop to reset the administrator
password or will it work if I buy a newer upgraded software.
please help me!
Hope this makes sense.
p.s- The version that is currently on this laptop says "Mac OS X 10.5.7
