Adobe Air - yes or no?

Hey!

There are a lot of discussions and disputes about OSX and Adobe Flash.

What do you say about Adobe Air? I had to install Flash but I use the click-to-flash safari extension. Now I need Adobe Air to run an App. Is it worse than Flash - performance, security...

I am sorry for being a noob when I mingle with this little cute and complex thing called computer but this is why I bought a mac

There's nothing wrong with it.

Adobe Air is flash packaged in an executable.

Never had any problems running it, seems ok to me

Works fine with iPlayer although always found TweetDeck's interface somewhat ugly.
