Hello,

is there an adobe cs3 product that competes with iphoto? perhaps more in line with picassa?

thanks,
r.

Well, in terms of photo organizing and image editing capabilities? First you have Bridge, which is mainly just a file organizer/browser. Then there's Lightroom which is actually a competitor to Apple's Aperture, much more advanced than iPhoto though similar at a basic level. And of course they have Photoshop, the king of image editors.

iPhoto and Picasa are much more consumer level applications, whereas Adobe mainly offers pro applications.

Does offer Photoshop Elements as a consumer level application, but still isn't a universal binary application. That means that while it will run on an Intel Mac, it runs slowly.

Photoshop Elements.

It's pretty much a very light version of Photoshop, with camera import capabilities.
