Adobe CS3 is finally SHIPPING!

We need four copies of the Design Standard upgrade. Thing is, it is more than twice the price in the UK than the US!! Dollars $429 (I have allowed 7 per cent tax)

Same thing in the UK Pounds £499.99!!! with an exchange rate of $1.90 that runs out to $950!!!

So $2,000 more for the four copies, I don't think so....

Me thinks Adobe are taking the urine with this!
 
I'm glad to see that these have started shipping. Many Mac users who own Intel-based Macs have waited a long time to get their hands on Intel native versions of CS3.

I'm sure we'll see some benchmarks soon.

Yep, ordered from the Apple Store. My hope is that Apple only posted that ship date because they didn't have an exact date and that no one's gotten around to updating it yet.

April 16th is the later half of April, right? :)
 
Just bought the Web Premium upgrade. Downloading it now....it's big....2.41 GB for the core suite.

I've just placed an order for the Design Premium from the Adobe UK Education site. During the payment process, it said that it would be shipped by June the something.. but I'm thinking, th probably haven't got round to changing all the dates around the site.

I hope it ships tomorrow... as per the suggestion on the front page of their site.
 
Web Premium download took a bit, but everything worked great! Total Web Premium package with extras clocked in at a little over 3 GB.

Ahhh.....a Universal Binary Adobe Suite....nice!

can someone who's received any upgrade version confirm that they're still allowing clean upgrades without installing old software?

My download was the Web Premium upgrade version. I recently switched to the Mac...so the only thing installed on my machine was DW. It installed everything else from scratch.
