Hi,
I've just installed the new CS4 MC on my macbook pro and it looks like several software doesn't work (i.e. start).
It's Premiere, After Effects, Soundbooth and Encore.
All the other apps (PS, IL, ID, FL, FW, DW works fine).
It seems that when I open those applications, the moment they load audio plugins the software crashes...
Any idea? Anyone with the same problem?
Thanks

Hi,

The Adobe Production Suite seems to have problems with Audio-Plugins located in the folder:

Mac HD / Library / Audio / Plugins / HAL

DVCPROHDAudio.plugin works with CS4
iSightAudio.plugin works with CS4

All others: no guarantee that they will work, so you should try to move any other plugin out of the plugins-folder to test which causes the crash.
The crashes on my computer where caused by a software called "Hear".

Hope this helps....

thanks alot. actually, it's hell.
because I took all the audio plug-ins off the folder.
and still doesn't work. even Premiere CS4 doesn't start when all audio plugins are off and it crashes when it tries to launch one of its own plugins (write_on plugin).
Hell on earth...
