So I'm (hopefully) going to be buying the Student/Teacher Edition of the Adobe CS6 Web & Design Premium for my next semester of college. I have a Macbook Pro, and I like to keep the storage as high as possible, but I'm getting off track here. If I get CS6, and then I do a clean install of Mountain Lion afterwards, what happens to CS6? I plan on backing it up to an external drive, but I'm not sure what will happen to it afterwards? Will I have screwed up? Or will the backup be all right and I won't need to worry about purchasing the software again? On Adobe's website, it says that the Student Edition is limited to one license, which is why I am ask about this.

If anyone needs clarification with this, please say so! I can say things that I think make sense, but then they don't...

Thanks!

Just make sure you deactivate it before you reinstall. Why not just buy it after you do a clean install of ML?

The heat where I am has obviously gotten to me... I didn't think of that. Thank you!
