Hey there, hoping someone can help me with a very frustrating problem!

For the last 6 months or so, I have been unable to watch any TV shows on the UK Channel 4 online service, 4od. Every time I try to watch them, it either hangs before playing any adverts, or if it does successfully play the initial adverts and the first part of a program, then fails to play the ad break in the middle.

It only happens on my 2 Macs (one 2010 Mini, one 2008 Macbook), using any browser running under Mac OS 10.6.8. I have updated everything in sight - OS, browsers, Adobe Flash. I even re-installed Mac OS X on both to make sure it wasn't a conflict of some sort.

And before anyone asks, yes the bandwidth is plenty! Other shows from the BBC, ITV and other sites such as You Tube are absolutely fine - it's just 4od.

And finally, it's not my router or ISP, as if I boot the same computers in either Windows or Ubuntu GNU/Linux, they play 4od shows fine also.

Very frustrated with the whole thing, as we specifically ditched our TV licence so we could just use online TV. Would appreciate any ideas of how to fix.

Cheers,

Lewis
