Adobe icon on PDF files after removing Adobe Reader from macOS

Hi,

I had Adobe Reader for macOS installed but now I decided to remove it by moving it into the Trash and then removing it from there as well.

The only small problem is, why are all the PDF files still have the Adobe Reader looking icon on all my PDF files even when selecting the Apple Preview app to open as default for all PDF files?

Please, can anyone help?
I even tried the steps below under the /Library directory to remove all Adobe related folders and files but still see the Adobe looking icon images in PDF files. See screen shot image.

I already set the DEFAULT PDF app back to Preview and selected Change All under the Get Info section.
