I recently subscribed to a trial of Adobe Lightroom to edit my photos from my iPhone 13 Pro Max 1TB. On all of my devices, for many years I have set to optimize storage although I have always had the largest storage size respectively for each device release. I am mainly using my iPad Pro 11” 2nd Gen to edit the photos I choose. So my question is, when I import my photos in to LightRoom it looks like they are pulling down the optimized photo from my device rather then the full resolution image from the iCloud. I tried a few things but appears each image is the same file size it shows in the photos app, I know some of my pictures should be a larger file size then what is being stored locally. I’d like to know if anyone has a work around for this or any input that could help me get the full resolution photos imported to Lightroom. I’d rather not take off optimize storage for my devices as I have my lifetime of pictures on the iCloud, I’m 35 but still tons of pics between when I was younger, my kids and pets! Any help would be appreciated, I tried reaching out to Adobe but they said to contact Apple. That will be my next step if no one knows here. Thanks!
