Can I install Office and Adobe CS Suite on both my laptop and desktop?? Or do I need to buy two licenses? I'm ordering the software and need to know if this will be an issue.

Duff-Man says....I don't know about Adobe...but the Office X license (I assume office 2004 is the same) says that yes, you can install on a "portable device" for the "exclusive use" of the person that is "primary user" of the first copy...meaning you can install on both but only you can use it....oh yeah!

If you have the Education version of Office, it can be installed on 3 computers at once. As far as I know, the others can be installed on multiple computers, but you can only be running one at a time on a network. For instance, if Photoshop is open on 1 computer, it can't be opened on the other until the first is closed.

Duff-Man says....a quick look at Adobe's website shows this info regarding your question....oh yeah!
Q: Can I activate Adobe software software on more than one computer?

A: The activation process supports installation on two machines. Adobe's Product License Agreement allows a user to install the product on a primary and a secondary computer as long as the product is not being used concurrently on the two machines. While the activation process supports installing and activating Adobe software on two machines, the usage of the product on the secondary computer is restricted to the main user who licensed the software. Allowing others to use Adobe software on a secondary computer violates the Product License Agreement.
