adobe photoshop cs3 question need help?????

Today when i open adobe photoshop cs3. Adobe Updater is open and trying to update. I click ok and update. It download the update but when i see it was so big 589MB. I click cancel the update. I am wondering if it is store the half way download update somewhere in my macbook pro or not???? or is there something update infor that store somewhere in notebook????

Please can someone help me out. I need some ans asap.
