Decided to get, but have been putting off buying, Elements for my MacPro.

Was about to pull trigger via App Store for $80 when I saw another poster mention Amazon having physical copies for less.

They do have Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 for $65, but as I'm running Lion 10.7.4 I'm wondering if this would mean an immediate (or soon) update that I'd have to pay for. Can anyone answer this?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Typically the way it works is updates to Elements 10 would be free whether you buy it from the App Store, Amazon, or Adobe. When Elements 11 comes out there would be an upgrade fee, regardless of where you purchased it. Now this fee could vary from place to place, but even if you buy a physical copy from Amazon, if you register it with Adobe, you probably would be offered a discounted upgrade price for Elements 11.

Thanks a million. Looks like there are already updates to Elements within OSX 10, but I'm going to take the leap and assume at least those updates will be free.
