Adobe Premiere CC importing mxf files help.

Hi guys.

I am working with several mxf files but when importing them to Premiere CC it takes a long time to re render them pending. Is there a way to skip that process?

What codec do those MXF files use and what camera is it from?

Are you sure it is rendering/transcoding during import or just generating audio preview files?

Is your project set accordingly to the format?

I figured it out. I unchecked the CC in the preferences. And when importing rather than drag and dropping the file, Premiere does not creates proxies or anything. Is running flowless.

Close Captions. It seems Premiere by default searches fro CC information when importing.
