I had adobe premiere pro CS3 for the iMac in the other room and it has no problems on there. I got my macbook pro (aluminium one) in January and whenever i go on premiere on it (same version), it crashes quite often for no obvious reason. It happens when performing a wide range of tasks. It could be when pressing space bar to play a video, it could be when creating a title, it could be when cropping footage. It just seems to happen randomly. The machine doesn't show any signs of slowing and doesn't crash with games open on the windows partition or with spore open on os x or with anything else open.

When it crashes, it basically just brings up the application crashed window and then i choose to relaunch and it'll work for a while and then crash again. Anybody else got this? Is there a patch? Anything you could suggest?

I tried uninstalling (it comes with an uninstall tool) then re-installing and that didn't seem to work.
