Adobe problems?

Photoshop and illustrator keep crashing on launch... run Panther on a G4 with PS7 and ILus10 installed, been running fine for 6 months, nothing has been done to the machine, and it's just started. Tried deleting the prefs and done a clean install of both app's. Any other suggestions?

using an original purchased upgrade CD... why?

fonts? only have the basics and then start adding the 3rd party ones back in, they could be corrupt (the most possible).

thats about all i can think of at the moment, i had the same kinda problem a while ago.

bwt, what stage of startup does it get to? could also be a corrupt colour profile ect.

photoshop shows the info pane then crashs, illustrator is almost instant as you click the icon...
