Which is better for pdf files ...

Reader 9 or Leopard's Preview?

Preview is faster but has less features

Adobe Reader is slower but has more features

Therefore it comes down to personal preferences and how they fit with your needs (which is just like every other application decision).

There are some differences such as the main one I have noticed when trying to copy text out that is displayed in newspaper like columns Preview ignores the columns and just copies the line where as Adobe reader follows the columns.

I'm really just wondering how much difference there is between preview and the new reader, the one that was released a week or so ago.

reader 9 for OSX is out? ... I will try out tomorrow and then vote.

EDIT, can't wait

41MB download, compare to 20MB of reader 8.1.2. Too big --

need password to install --

Unbelievably fast! it feels even faster than preview on my mini (leopard)! +++

Reading your edits, does this mean you vote for reader 9?
