Hello all. I am hopefully going to be getting a macbook pro very soon, but I had a few questions about what to buy.

I do a lot of layout with indesign, illustrator and photoshopping for work. I want all of this stuff, but I also want a lot of room for other things. Sorry I'm new to this. I'm just tired of using my school's iMacs.

This would also be my fun, everyday laptop. So I need something that doubles as a work horse and as a play toy.

I am looking at some refurbished stuff, what would you think about bang for your buck there?

Thanks in advance.

Andrew

a lot of the stuff in the refurb store is great bang for the buck.

i think the biggest concern would be the screen size, that wil narrow it down a lot for you.

i personally think the macbook pros are great, specs wise, for what you want to do.

are you going to use an external monitor?
