Up north in Yorkshire :)
Just been running Sponge... and when locating to the folder where all of my Adobe programmes are stored (CS4 Master Collection, and Photoshop CS3)
there is a folder called ".AdobePatchFiles" taking up 1.7GB of space...

I am slightly confused as to what this is.. it is hidden in finder due to the dot before it... but still what is it...

I attatch a shot of the window to try and show what I mean..

It may be updates (also called patches).

If you updated your Adobe software regularly, and Adobe does that automatically, it stores the files there maybe, or the old ones, that got batched, as a backup.
