Adorama is taking pre-orders .. Tax free for most

I just ordered with Adorama .. they are taking pre-orders and it is tax free for most states except NY, NJ. They are only charging $5 to the credit card until the order is shipped. There are only 25 pre-orders as of now so there is a good chance of getting it in their first batch delivery.

Just thought some one will be interested in saving around $50.
 
Now that is good. A good amount of savings as well. Doesn't Adorama charge sales tax in NY though?

they don't know when they will get theirs in
either 16th or 19th
if i find one before I might get it but with no tax, i save $110 on two lol
 
Question: I've never used (or even heard of) that website. Do they allow you to use multiple credit cards upon checkout? I have a couple $100 visa gift cards I'd like to put towards my purchase.

they are extremely legit and well respected
you need to call to order so id do that and tell them about your situation
 
they are only taking preorders if you have been a customer before. they are not taking preorders if this is your first order.
 
Not to sound stupid, but are these orders that will be shipped to your house or will you be going in to a brick & mortar. Thanks

I should have been more clear. I'm in south Florida, so will need it shipped. I don't see anything on the site, so I'm assuming its a call only type of thing.
 
Thanks! I'm a repeat customer for their Canon lenses ;) Just ordered two white 64 wifi. Not too many people ahead of me for it either ;) I'm praying I'll get it soon after launch day.

How do you knows who's ahead of u or what not?
 
This sounds a good option if you end up saving $50+ dollars. But, as for me, I am just buying one $499 16GB wifi version and the tax is $25, so I'd rather have it on the 16th and pay $25 tax.
 
FYI expect to receive a call soon after placing your order from someone that will verify that your order was placed or not. just an extra step for security reasons.
 
Status still "Pending" on Adorama's tracking page.
grr.....maybe I should go queue up at the Apple Store now....lol.
