Adorama purchasing experience

I ordered a laptop on the 6th that was backordered, they waited until the 12th to submit the order to Apple and charged my card. They still have no clue when they’re shipping it to me. They cannot give me a date for when it’s arriving but apparently it might take two weeks and aren’t responding to emails.

Are you complaining that they're bungling this so bad it feels like a scam or are you asking if Adorama is scammy?

I've purchased plenty of things from Adorama before and never had a serious problem. They do seem to be a bit more disorganized and make more errors than similarly sized retailers though.

It's also a crazy time of year for all retailers. If you try to contact them right now, expect lots of shrugs and late responses.

Did you get a BTO configuration? If it's not a stock configuration, they probably don't have it in stock and Apple could be the hold up.
