ADSL Router

Hi

Can anyone please offer some advice.
I have a Airport Extreme base station connected to a D-Link router. The router continually crashes and I have to re-enter the relevant info. Can anyone suggest a suitable replacement router which is a more robust alternative?

I have the Netgear DGN2000 and love it. It's been the most stable router I've ever had. Not a single crash or dropped connection in the past year that I've had it. I know my experience may be different from some other owners. I've seen it reported that it can get too hot but I haven't had that issue and I'm a heavy internet user.

How about just getting a regular (non-router) modem from, say, your ISP and using the Airport for all your routing needs?
