I'm a real incompetent newbie about firewalls and adblockers. Currently, I'm using Wipr in Safari, uBlock Origin and Privacy Badger in Firefox. According to some blockers test sites (see this thread: https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...cy-and-data-protection-merged.2378717/page-13), I don't get full protection against ads and other irritating stuff, and ads on YouTube. I'm now thinking about installing Vallum 4 and Adsorb as complements:
www.murusfirewall.com
www.vallumfirewall.com
What to think of these? Are they worth it? Are they good enough, efficient and reliable? Will they kill ads on YouTube? And will they interfere with Wipr, uBlock Origin and Privacy Badger?
Adsorb
Adsorb is a light weight, fast and efficient network-level ads blocker for macOS.
Vallum
Scudo is a hybrid firewall for macOS with a very simple interface aimed at all Mac users.
