Advanced question about inverter board and screen MBP 17 "

Hello,

My MBP mate screen 17" died (broken). Inverter board was OK.
I get a replacement 17" screen but glossy. The light do not go up with
that screen.

My question is : is the inverter board different for mate and glossy screens.
My inverter is 612-0011-1. The glossy screen is LP171WE2 (TL)(A1).

Boards are the same, panels are the same; just the coating is different.

I asked for a replacement, got another screen with the same reference from the
ebay reseller .. and it worked !! So that was a defective screen sold by that
ebay reseller.
