Advanced Search by date range

I see that Advanced Search allows you to search for threads/posts newer than a certain date, but not older. I think having both as an option would be nice, as sometimes I am searching for info on machines of a certain vintage and most of the search results are irrelevant because they are too new. This could also be partially amended by allowing more than 25 pages of results in a search, because then you can go back to the start. Google search does something similar to this.

Though this may not be used frequently, I do think it would be a nice addition if it wasn't too much work to add to the site.

I agree that’s a good idea, especially when you’re looking for threads/posts related to a release date. Although I wouldn’t use it often, I’d like have the option for a date range.
