iPod touch Advantages/Disadvantages of Registering iPod touch

Hey Everyone,
I was just wondering about the advantage (or disadvantage) of registering my new 4th gen touch...Thoughts?

Advantages is the Genius Bar can pull up your information on the fly when you go there. Disadvantages? Can't think of a one.

Well that serial is registered to you so if it's stolen then it's sort of possible to find it, even though apple says they won't but thats my opinion. I read a news article about it and they recovered most of them. But yeah they can pull up everything about instantly. Don't really see any disadvantages.
