Looking to buy a 250GB external hard drive to work with my MacBook
. Not too expensive, I just dropped $300 for my iPhone 3G and don't want to ask my dad to pay for the hard drive. Any suggestions?
Get a portable Firewire harddrive enclosure and a 5400 rpm ide drive to put in the enclosure. The nice thing about the little firewire drives is that they can be powered by the laptop's firewire port without a separate power adapter. Plus, you can easily take it with you. the 5400 rpm ones are pretty cheap.
Funny considering I'm looking for the same. I'm most likely going to get this one. Looks great and I think it meets all your specifications.
