Advice for a fortieth birthday present

Hello

a friend is getting an pad from his wife for his fortieth, i want to give him something to go with it. its a fancy toy, he'll be using it for messing around at home and maybe a bit of work (he's a lecturer). any ideas around the £50 or $75 mark?

Personally, I think buying for an Apple user is hard. An iPad and iPhone are very personal devices so buying a keyboard or case would be like picking out a tattoo for your brother's neighbor.

I say give him a general gift card or maybe an iTunes Gift Card and call it a day.

However, if his wife knows what accessories he may want/need, then you could go that route.
