Advice for a new Macbook owner?

Well I finally took the plunge and bought a used Macbook off of a coworker. I did a fresh install of Mac OS X 10.5 and updated it to the latest version. Anyways, the reason I am posting is to see what advice ya'll can give me for never working with the Mac OS before. Any mandatory or cool programs I should get? Any certain set of tweaks should I apply to get the most out of it? Etc. Any and all help is appreciated!
