Ok... Here is the dilemma.. I want to take advantage of the new enterprise features... who am I kidding... I just want an iphone.

Business contracts are now supported... so what is my problem? I have a control freak in communication purchasing, who will not let me put an iphone on my work account - EVEN if I buy the phone... long story...

Anyway, I have given up on trying to fight. So, my question to all of you-

Can I use and iphone without account authorization? I currently have AT&T voice with an exchange data plan on a moto q.

I just want to be able to take my sim out and put it in the iphone on my off time (as I can currently do with my back up moto razr).

Would an unlocked phone solve my issue?

Thanks for the help!
