Hey guys I want to upgrade my MacBook Pro 13" Early 2011 to 16GB RAM.
I saw a lot of videos and they all used 270$~ ram. I thought that this was outrageous since all other RAM is much cheaper.
I did my research and found out that Mac RAM must be 1.5 vlots and of the speed/latency 9-9-9-24
The following are the results of my search.
CORSAIR 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Memory for Apple Model CMSA16GX3M2A1333C9

G.SKILL 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Memory for Apple Model FA-1333C9D-16GSQ
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231576
This one seemed pretty weird.
http://www.amazon.com/Komputerbay-P...f=sr_1_21?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1333816865&sr=1-21

Is there any particular one out of these that will not work?
Let me know if you know of RAM that is cheaper than this.
I am open to any other suggestions.
Thanks for all your time

I just put the exact same model into my Mini Server, and immediately I started getting an intermittent black screen on my Thunderbolt display. Apparently there has been at least one bad batch of Corsair memory of this type, as others have had this problem as well. Check out https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3344905?start=60&tstart=0
