Advice for recording

Recorded on garageband a while ago and now i bought a macbook pro and now i want to know what is the best program for recording..

Pro Tools, Digital Performer, Logic, Cubase, etc, etc.
Take your pick. Or go into more details so we have something to go on.

Logic is the best overall platform I've used. ProTools can be quite restricting due to hardware partnering limitations, and for that reason I think it's best kept to professional studios who can usually afford to run such a package.

Cubase is well... okay. It's no way near as flexible as Logic from my experience, and I've run Cubase and Logic on Mac, and Cubase on PC...
