Hi everyone,

I would like to sell my iPad 2 and purchase a new iPad 3. What is the best way to sell a used iPad 2? Obviously I would like to get as much money as possible. It is a black 64 GB WiFi-only model with 2 year AppleCare and a black leather Smart Cover. Great condition. Is eBay the best option? Should I jailbreak it first? This may be tricky because I updated it to 5.1. Is there any way I can make use of the AppleCare? Or can this be transferred to the new owner?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Well, firstly, it's too late to get top value for it.

eBay is good and all, but they'll get you for 9% of the total sale value.

Best bet is Craigslist. With everything involved you could probably get $450-$500.

This.

Just sell it on Craigslist, but be smart. Not sure how fast your wanting to sell it (im sure ASAP) but there are going to be PLENTY of lowballers on there. Just make sure you are a little patient and make sure you don't go alone.

Good Luck with Sale !
