I am a longtime PC user looking to get a taste of the mac world. I've been looking at the 500 mhz iBook and I was wondering, will this be enough to have a good experience with a mac? I want to run MS Office, Webbrowsing (with Airport), and Photoshop Elements (for some light duty editing). I basically want to be able to run Panther and spend in the 450-575 dollar range. Is this reasonable? (I'll buy office and the airport card this summer). Should I wait till prices settle down or buy now? All advice is appreciated...
