Advice for upgrading from iPad 1 to iPad 3

I'm looking to get the best money for my iPad 1 64 GB Wifi, and wondering what you think I should sell it for. I would be throwing in a case and the dock. Is $550 unreasonable? Any places you'd recommend selling it to or should I just go to Craigslist? I'm wary of Amazon because they tend not to have iPads in stock from their side and I would have to go through a seller.

I just sold my 32gb for $300 today. You can prob get more, but yes, $550 is unreasonable imo

You could probably squeeze $350-400, but don't expect much more than that for a 1st generation.

a refurbished 1st gen w/64 is $499 from apple, that's with new batteries and such so i think you might be asking a bit much

i've seen them going for less than $400 with 3g on the web

I sold my WiFi/3G 32GB iPad 1 for $365 on eBay if that helps you get an idea.

Expect ebay and craigslist prices to drop further in the next two weeks as people flood the market selling their ipad1's and 2's in anticipation of buying an ipad3.

apple sells refurbs 64gb with warranty for $499

I'd say you get a reasonable $375-$400 for it.
