Advice: Learning Final Cut Pro

Hi guys. I'm looking to get into editing a lot more and considering downloading Final Cut Pro from the Mac App Store.

However, as I'm starting from scratch, I want to try and teach myself as I go along and I'm looking for advice if any of you could recommend up to date books, videos or learning material targeted at the beginner.

Has anybody got experience they could share? Did a quick Amazon search but not sure if what's available relates to the most up to date version of the software I'd be buying!
