advice mid 2010 macbook pro 13 inch 2.4ghz

Hello,
I was just checking to see the feedback from this mac and to see if there are any know problems/major problems with this system. In other words I am trying to figure out if I should opt for apple care at this point. I am still with in the first 90 of purchase of this system. Also any advice how to deal with the case/screen.
My system specs
2.4 ghz
4gb ram
250 hd

You can wait up to a full year from the purchase date to buy AppleCare. If you plan to use the computer for the next three years, I'd say that AppleCare would be a worthy investment. It has certainly helped me in the past with my MacBook Pro.

No, it is only backlit during low ambient light situations.

The 13" MBP is probably the most reliable notebook in Apple's range. Hardly any issues with it at all.

Be sure to check for dead pixels and the "yellow tinge"!!

No, it is only backlit during low ambient light situations.

Also, the F5 and F6 keys adjust the brightness of the backlit keyboard. (I've always wonder what those did, I finally figured out when I got my MBP )

another question my last macbook was stolen and I didnt really have anything set up to track it or even find it if it was stolen.
Is there anything out there I can do to protect myself with this one?
Besides being more mindful?

This is about the best you can do as far as tracking stolen computers is concerned.
