Well it is a 2010 base MBA which run around 699 refurbed on Apple's website and the ACD display runs 850 so refurbed you are looking at $1550 total so used at $1200 isn't crazy since they very well may not have a warranty. Does seem a little low for a starting price, but not completely out of the realm or realism.

Thats a really good deal I would do it, the display alone runs $1000 new. If its on craigslist make sure it isn't stolen, and get receipts if possible. Always bring a friend and meet in a well lit populated area, like a coffee shop. Be safe people are crazy these days.
