I have a dilemma:

I am traveling next Wednesday to NYC, and am going to buy a MacBook Pro.
I have decided buying it from Amazon - I can't buy it through the Apple Online Store as my credit card is not issued in the US, and if I buy it at a retail store I will have to pay an extra 8% because of tax (this amount is larger than Leopard itself).

Question is: will I receive the MacBook Pro with Tiger or Leopard? I assume Tiger as I will be ordering today, and I suspect Leopard won't be included.

I can use the up-to-date Apple program, but how efficient is that? I will only be in the US for a week or so, so I'd like to know what my odds are.

Will it make a difference if I order it tomorrow instead of today, after Leopard is officially launched? I'm ordering today to make sure I'll get the MacBook Pro on Wednesday or, worst case, on Friday (two-day shipping, I'll be leaving NYC on early Monday).

Please bare with me, I have never ordered a computer through Amazon and the timing is less than stellar with the OS change and all :)

Thanks in advance for your help!

[OFF-TOPIC]: anyone noticed that when you type MacBook, the spell checker marks it as wrong, but it has no issues with iBook or PowerBook? Time to update the spell checker, Apple! ;)
